(BEDFORD) - The City of Bedford Sanitation Department will kick off Clean Sweep week Saturday until Monday, April 28.

Residential items that normally are not collected can be set at the curb for crews to pick up. Residents can call the department at 279-9222 for pick up.

The Bedford Chamber also asks residents to participate and clean up designated areas in the city. For more information about the project contact the Chamber.

In addition, Shredding & Storage Unlimited will have a locked collection tote at the Chamber office, 1116 16th St., so people can drop off paperwork.

It will be there from Wednesday through April 28, Mondays through Fridays, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Papers will be shredded on site.
