(SALEM) - During their board meeting the Salem School Board approved a plan to re-consolidate the upper and lower elementary schools into one Bradie Shrum Elementary School.
The Leader Democrate reports that Superintendent Lynn Reed says this would improve communication and strengthen the schools. All staff would remain at the school and the overall principal would be Brent Minton, who is the current lower elementary principal.
The school will start the search for an assistant principal internally.
