Bloomington Police Still Looking For Hit-Run Driver

(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police continue to search for the driver of a passenger car suspected of injuring two men during a hit-and-run crash Tuesday night on the city’s northwest side.

Two men were thrown from their scooter leaving one in critical condition..

The driver of the Kymoco scooter, 24-year-old Zachary Frame told police he was traveling east on West Seventh Street when the vehicle struck the scooter from behind.

Frame suffered scrapes and complained of pain in his head. His passenger 24-year-old Donald Reed was found by police unconscious. Both men were taken to IU-Bloomington Hospital where Reed remains in critical condition.

Police say the driver of the maroon sedan continued east on West Seventh Street.

Anyone with information about the accident or the driver of the SUV is asked to call the Bloomington Police Department.
