(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after he hit a woman in the head during an argument Wednesday morning.
Police arrested 43-year-old Kenneth Johnson on a charge of domestic battery. Police were called to the home at 9:46 a.m. after a report of a domestic fight at Stalker Apartments.
According to Bedford Assistant Chief Joe DeWees, when police arrived the woman, who lives with Johnson, told police Johnson had hit her on the top of the head.
DeWees says the woman had no visible sign of injury but did complain of pain. She refused medical treatment.
