(RAGLESVILLE) - A 4-year-old girl was killed after a skid-steer loader ran over her Saturday afternoon.
According to a Daviess County Sheriff's Department report, Regina Wittmer died at 12:40 p.m. Saturday at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville as a result of massive head trauma.
According to police Matthew Wittmer, was driving the loader at his home at 11201E County Road 950 North and had stopped to pick up Regina and her 2-year-old brother. As he was loading the younger child, a lever was pushed, causing the loader to move forward. The loader then ran over Regina's head and shoulder.
