(MITCHELL) - Tonya Chastain is the new executive director of the Lawrence County Tourism Commission. She will replace Eric Marvin who resigned to take a new position in Virginia.
Chastain, who is a lifetime Mitchell resident, has served as the group sales director for Spring Mill Inn for the past 10 years.
President of the Tourism Commission Jim Richards says Chastain was a unanimous choice because of her extensive experience in tourism and level of community involvement.
