Storm Water Grant Project To Begin Monday On Lincoln Avenue

Last updated on Friday, March 28, 2014

(BEDFORD) - Tri-County Builders will be starting the Lincoln Avenue section of the storm water grant project on or around March 31.

According to Bedford Utilities Director Misty Adams, the project consists of installing a storm sewer system along Lincoln Avenue from the intersection of 6th Street south to an existing box culvert crossing Lincoln Avenue near 7th Street.

The project will also include installation of storm sewer on portions of N street and 6th Street north and east of Lincoln Avenue.

The pipe area is approximately 2,000 feet in total length and will include new inlets.

"We realize this will be an inconvenience for businesses and residents with access to their property at different times during the project," Adams says. "There will be some temporary road closures, pavement repair and resurfacing. The project is estimated to take two to three months. Tri-County will work with all property owners to minimize the inconvenience."

Luke Lawson of Tri-County Builders can be contacted at 812-276-9504 if you have questions during the time of work at this location.

"Thank you in advance for your patience as we continue to build a better Bedford," Adams says.
