Women Charged With Battery

Last updated on Monday, March 3, 2014

(BEDFORD) - Two women were arrested after they got into a domestic fight Sunday afternoon.

According to Lawrence County Chief Deputy Mike Branham, officers were called to the home in the 600 block of Pinhook Road at 2:12 p.m. after 23-year-old Chelsea Miller called police.

Miller and 22-year-old Brittany Flick had been living in the home for several months together and Flick wanted Miller to move out.

"Chelsea refused, telling Brittany she would have to evict her," Branham says. "While on the phone with police, the fight became physical."

Miller suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by an IU Health Hospital ambulance crew.

"Both filed battery charges," Branham says. "So both were arrested and charged with battery."
