(BEDFORD) - The public is invited to attend a meeting hosted by Indiana Farm Bureau on Friday to understand the new farm bill.
"Understanding the Farm Bill: What to Expect in the Agricultural Act of 2014" will provide farmers and other agricultural stakeholders with updates on the Agricultural Act of 2014 with special focus on the commodity, livestock, and crop insurance programs.
The meeting will be held Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds Expo Hall.
John Anderson, deputy chief economist at the American Farm Bureau Federation, and Matt Erickson, economist at the American Farm Bureau Federation, will be the guest speakers.
