(ORLEANS) - The Orleans Bicentennial Committee is still accepting general theme ideas for the town’s 200th birthday celebration in 2015.
The theme will be used on official print materials, souvenirs, website, advertising etc. along with approved logo/artwork.
Committee Chair Robert F. Henderson say the committee's overall goal is to honor Orleans' 200 years of history, but to do so in a modern way that engages all of its residents and leaves a lasting legacy for future generations.
Theme suggestions can be emailed to orleans1815@netsurfusa.net or mailed to Orleans Bicentennial "1815-2015" P.O. Box 9, Orleans, IN 47452-0009.
The individual submitting the chosen theme will receive a commemorative gift package.
A new website and Facebook page dedicated to the Orleans Bicentennial is expected to be developed soon along with the unveiling of the official logo for the birthday event.
