(MITCHELL) - A 27-year-old Mitchell man was arrested early Friday morning on charges that he battered and strangled a woman during a fight.
Douglas Sullivan was arrested and charged with domestic battery and strangulation after he allegedly got into an argument with the woman just after midnight on Friday at Persimmon Park Apartments.
The woman had alerted a friend by text message telling her about the fight and her injuries. The woman suffered scrapes and bruises. The woman refused medical treatment.
