Grants Set To Advance Tourism In Jackson County

(JACKSON CO.) - The Jackson County Visitor Center Board has made a pair of grants in an effort to further encourage tourism in Jackson County.

Tricia Stuart, Vice President of the Jackson County Visitor Center Board of Directors, recently presented a Promotional Grant check of $400 to Linda Sullivan, representing the Muscatatuck Wildlife Society. The grant will be used for advertising for the 16th Annual Wings Over Muscatatuck Migratory Bird Festival. This year's event is scheduled to run May 9-11.

Stuart also recently presented a Promotional Grant check of $400 to Cooney Barger, representing the Jackson County Antique Machinery Association Inc. The grant will be used for the upcoming Jackson County Antique Farm Machinery Show, scheduled to run May 8-10.
