Four Arrested After Theft Report From Walmart

(BEDFORD) - Bedford Police arrested four people Tuesday afternoon after they received a report that a group of people had entered Walmart and one person walked out without paying for an item.

"The employee at the store was able to give a description of the vehicle they left in," says Chief Dennis Parsley. "The vehicle was stopped at the intersection of (Ind.) 37 and 29th Street."

Parsley says officers saw the item in the vehicle in addition to drugs.

Police arrested 27-year-old Teela Mitternight of Bedford for the theft in addition to charges of visiting a common nuisance and possession of meth.

30-year-old Samuel Terry of Bedford is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of meth and maintaining a common nuisance.

32-year-old James Wright of Heltonville was charged with visiting a common nuisance, possession of meth and possession of a legend drug after officers found 50 Tramadol.

30-year-old Jacob Bunch of Bloomington was charged with false informing after he gave police a fake name and date of birth and is also charged with visiting a common nuisance.
