Bloomington Police Investigating Bank Robbery

(BLOOMINGTON) - The Bloomington Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred Monday morning at the Old National Bank inside the Marsh Supermarket in the 1800 block of North Kinser Pike and 45/46 Bypass.

At approximately 10:20 a.m., a black man entered the bank and demanded money from the teller. The man indicated that he had a weapon, but none was ever displayed.

The man then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.Some of the money from the robbery was recovered in the parking lot, but the suspect got away.

No one was injured in the robbery.

The man is described as 35 to 40 years old, 5'5" talk and of medium build. He was wearing dark-colored pants and a dark coat with a white button-down shirt. The man had dreadlocks pulled back behind his head and was wearing thick dark sunglasses.
