(BLOOMINGTON) - On Thursday, a 23-year-old man called police to report he shot himself in the finger while unloading his Glock pistol to clean it.
Officers found the bullet lodged in a ceiling joist of the man's apartment, according to Bloomington police Lt. Steve Kellams.
The man was taken to the hospital for treatment to an injury to his left index finger.
