(BLOOMFIELD) - Bloomfield schools were under lockdown Monday morning after a threatening note was found.

Superintendent Dan Sichting said the note was found just outside the high school office around 9:15 a.m. He said law enforcement was immediately notified.

Sichting said the individual responsible for the note was located an hour later. After a sweep of the building, he said the lockdown was lifted at 11:15 a.m. after no threat was found.
