(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after a domestic fight at Ridgewood Apartments on Michaels Avenue.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers were alerted to the fight at 2:04 a.m. Sunday.
When they arrived they could hear a couple yelling inside the apartment. Officers knocked on the door, the yelling stopped and no one would answer.
"That is when they noticed 35-year-old Joshua England looking out the window," Parsley says. "England yelled that the police were here and disappeared out of the window."
Officers entered the apartment to make sure everyone was safe and found England and the woman hiding in a closet.
England was arrested after police discovered the woman had a protective order in place against England. He was charged with invasion of privacy.
