(ELLETTSVILLE) - Police investigated a juvenile’s report that he was robbed at knifepoint while waiting for the school bus on the Northeast side of Ellettsville around 7 a.m. on Monday.
Investigators determined the student concocted the story, and the crime did not happen, according to a news release from Ellettsville police Sgt. Russell Harris.
The student is being referred to the Monroe County Probation Department.
