(BLOOMFIELD) - A Springville man who is in the Greene County Jail was served an arrest warrant Friday charging him with using and dealing heroin and having other drugs and drug paraphernalia in his possession.

32-year-old Michael Ray was in jail accused of the burglary of a Bloomfield home where he and Samuel Bates of Bloomfield allegedly stole several guns and a lock box containing cash.

Police are still searching for Samuel Bates.

32-year-old Amanda Thompson, also of Springville, was arrested Friday by an Indiana State Police Trooper on charges of using heroin and being in possession of other drugs and drug paraphernalia.

When police arrived at Ray's home on February 7 to arrest him for the burglary, they found a large amount of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Ray was at the home with Thompson.

Ray told police he had bought the drugs in Bloomington.
