Programs On Moles, Signs Of Spring At Bedford Public Library

Last updated on Friday, February 14, 2014

(BEDFORD) - Monroe Lake naturalist Jill Vance will visit the Bedford Public Library on Tuesday, Feb. 18, for two public programs.

The first program is for children ages 5 to 10, in the Children's Department. Children can drop by between 3:30 and 5 p.m. to learn about one of the oddest-looking animals in Indiana, the star-nosed mole, and make a craft.

At 6 p.m. in the Program Room, Vance will present a 45-minute program called "The Earliest Signs of Spring."

The program will explain how nature starts paving the way for spring earlier than many people think. This program is recommended for ages 14 and older.

The Bedford Public Library is located at 1323 K St. in Bedford.
