Medora Students Will Spend Extra Hour At School To Make Up Snow Days

Last updated on Thursday, February 13, 2014

(MEDORA) - Medora students will spend an hour longer in the classroom beginning Feb. 21 to make up 10 days they’ve missed because of bad weather and dangerous roads.

As of Wednesday, Superintendent Tom Judd says students have missed 15 days this school year.

The calendar included three built-in snow days; Jan. 20, Feb. 17 and April 21; and the district applied for a waiver for two days on Jan. 6 and 7.

The extra hour will be added to the end of the typical school day.
