(LINTON) - 25-year-old Isaac Curtis Hale of Linton was arrested late Wednesday after officers responded to a call from a woman who said Hale tried to force his way into her residence, refused to leave, then broke a window in a child’s bedroom.
The Greene County Daily World reports, five officers from the Linton Police Department responded to a residence on SW G Street in Linton, including Officers Nick Yingling, Chad Crynes, Paul Clark, Tom Jerrels and Jason Wilson, when the report was made around 11:10 p.m.
The resident told officers Hale had knocked on the front door and then she got into a verbal confrontation with Hale and she told him to leave. She told police Hale then tried to force his way into the home. Police say Hale was allegedly looking for the woman's ex-husband. She did call her ex-husband and let Hale talk to him on the phone. But she heard Hale tell the ex-husband that he (Hale) and his buddies were waiting on him - so she took the phone back and slammed the door shut.
Then, as she was standing in her living room, she heard the window break in her children's bedroom. According to the police report, Hale allegedly threw Coleman propane through the window.
Hale was later found in Carlisle and taken to the Greene County Jail where he was booked in early Thursday by LPD Officer Nick Yingling on preliminary charges of criminal mischief and stalking.
