(MITCHELL) - John Edge has resigned as Mitchell High School’s athletic director.
The Mitchell Community School Board accepted Edge's resignation Monday night.
The resignation is effective June 30.
Edge who also was the school's football coach had resigned from that position in November. The board will now begin a search for a replacement.
The board also approved the retirement of Mitchell High School Librarian Andrea Castrale. Her last day will be June 30.
