ISP Trooper Finds More Than 100 Grams Of Pot During Traffic Stop

(JACKSON CO.) - On Sunday, an Indiana Police officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and discovered more than 100 grams of marijuana.

Around Noon Trooper Randel Miller stopped the driver of a 2013 Hyundai for a traffic violation on southbound I-65 near the 50 mile marker.

During a converstation with the driver, 30-year-old Louie Malley, the trooper became suspicious of possible illegal activity.

Miller had enough probable cause to do a search of the vehicle where he also discovered 19 ecstasy pills and drug paraphernalia.

Malley, of Orland Park, IL was arrested without incident and taken to the Jackson County Jail.

Mallery is facing charges of dealing in marijuana over 30 grams, possession of marijuana over 30 grams and possession of schedule I controlled substance, all Class D felonies.
