(FRENCH LICK) - French Lick recently received designations for golf courses, spa and the West Baden Springs Hotel.
U.S. News and World Report ranked the hotel as the No. 1 hotel for Indiana.
Not only is West Baden Springs Hotel named No. 1 in the state, but it's also among the top 10 hotels in the Midwest and the one of the top 50 hotel spas in the United States - according to the readers of CondE Nast Traveler.
West Baden Springs Hotel landed No. 8 with an 84.5 rating among the top hotels in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin.
The resort's Pete Dye and Donald Ross Golf Courses were recognized on GolfWeek's Top 100 Best Resort Courses 2014 list. The Pete Dye Course was ranked No. 27 and the Donald Ross Course was ranked No. 48.
