(SALEM) - The State Fire Marshall’s Office is investigating what started a house fire last week on South Mill Creek Road.
Blue River Fire Department Chief Andy Miller says firefighters were alerted to the blaze at 11 p.m. last Friday.
Salem and the Livonia VFD also responded to the scene.
The owner Rose Ann Snelling and her daughter lost everything in the blaze that destroyed the one-story home. They are currently staying with family.
