(WASHINGTON) - A man was jailed in Washington Tuesday night after a car crash.
Around 6:16 p.m. Tuesday evening police say 22-year-old Andrew Sanders of Elnora was driving his 1996 Chevrolet Lumina north on Daviess County Road 475 East at a high rate of speed.
Sanders told authorities that he ran off the roadway due to ice on the road.
Sanders, who suffered minor injuries in the incident, refused medical treatment at the scene.
Sanders was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and was cited for improper registration
