(BLOOMINGTON) - Monroe Hospital’s emergency department and hospitalist program are each under new management.
The 32-bed private hospital's hospitalist program has established a partnership with Northwest Hospitalist Physicians, LLP, a locally based group of hospitalist physicians.
A hospitalist is a physician who works directly with patients who have been admitted to a hospital -- often for surgery or treatment of a chronic condition -- by coordinating the patients' care throughout their stay.
