(BEDFORD) - Congratulations to the BNL Lady Stars on another regional title.
It was No. 2 BNL 68, No. 3 Columbus North 54, at Columbus Saturday night.
The Lady Stars were championship worthy as they patiently worked their offense to go 20 for 31 from the field, 23 of 29 from the line, and claimed a 32-23 edge on the glass.
The only blip was 20 turnovers as the Bull Dogs scrambled and clawed trying to get back into the game.
It was announced Sunday morning that Bedford North Lawrence High School will host both the 3A and 4A girls basketball semistate Saturday.
The 3A contest will tip off at 4 p.m. and pit Class 3A, second-ranked Evansville Mater Dei (25-1) against No. 14 Chatard (21-5). The Class 4A game will follow and will be host and second-ranked BNL (25-1) facing top-ranked Lawrence North (25-1).
Tickets will be $8 for both games and will be sold at the BNL athletic office.
