Blooms A Busting Garden Show March 8 At Fairgrounds

(BEDFORD) - The Land of Limestone Master Gardners Club Inc. of Lawrence County will present its fifth annual “Blooms A Busting” garden show from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 8 in the main expo hall at the Lawrence County 4-H Fairgrounds on U.S. 50 West.

The event is free to attend.

There will be several gardening and outdoor living exhibitors, free plants to the first 50 visitors, door prizes, food service by Holt's Cafe and more.

Featured speakers during the event include:

Roy Ballard, of Hancock County Extension Educator for Agriculture and Natural Resources, who is the Indiana coordinator for Sustainable Agriculture Research and education.

Mark Bennett, an Indiana Department of Natural Resource Fish and Wildlife biologist.

Joe Kimmel has a history of beekeeping dating back 45 years, is a charter member of the Bedford Beekeepers; and

Alex Wardwell, project director for Southern Indiana Cooperative Invasive Management, covering 37 counting, promoting invasive awareness and remediation.
