Last updated on Tuesday, January 21, 2014

(BEDFORD) - Three people were arrested after an argument at a home on South Leatherwood Road Saturday afternoon turned violent.

According to Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig officers were called to the dispute around 3 p.m.

Once there officers discovered several family members were fighting and three ended up going to jail.

Officers arrested 37-year-old Sarah Moore, of Bloomington and 55-year-old Megan Collins, who lived at the home on battery charges. 55-year-old Glenn Collins, who also lives at the home, is facing battery and strangulation charges.

Craig says the dispute got out of hand after an argument turned physical.

"Everyone signed battery affidavits against each other, so everyone went to jail," Craig says. "No one was seriously injured in the altercations and no one was treated by medical personnel."
