Tetricks Selected As Grand Marshals For Orleans Dogwood Festival Parade

Last updated on Thursday, January 30, 2014

(ORLEANS) - Orleans Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Robert Henderson has announced that Lew and Georgia Tetrick have been named as the Grand Marshals for the 2014 Orleans Dogwood Festival Parade.

Active in community affairs for many years, the couple has volunteered with the annual festival in numerous capacities throughout much of its history.

The Tetricks owned and operated the town's only funeral home, Ochs-Tetrick, one of the oldest funeral establishments in the state. They just recently sold the business to retire.

"Lew and Georgia have given so much of themselves to this little town and this year especially we felt we really wanted to say a collective thank you to them both for all they have done and been a part of down through the years," Henderson says.

Parade Chairman Randy Clark says the Tetricks are the perfect choice to lead this year's annual homecoming parade through the historical downtown on Saturday, May 3.
