(UNDATED) - As of 8:30 a.m. significant winter storm will continue to slowly wind down across central Indiana this morning.
Considerable blowing and drifting snow will continue into the late morning hours on Monday. with snow on power lines - the wind may cause some power lines to fall.
The combination of very cold temperatures and strong winds will produce wind chills of 25 to 40 below at times from today through Tuesday. Wind chill warning remains in effect until 7 pm tonight.
A winter storm warning remains in effect until 10 am this morning.
Northwest winds will gust to 35 to 40 mph. this will result in considerable blowing and drifting of snow.
Bitter cold air will spread into our region today and linger into Tuesday causing wind chills to drop to 25 to 40 below zero at times.
