Last updated on Friday, January 10, 2014

(NEEDMORE) - According to a family friend, 51-year-old Aaron Beckner, an employee at Recycling Services of Indiana Inc., will be fine.

Beckner, of Bedford, suffered injuries to his head and a concussion after he fell 15 feet from an elevated conveyor. He was flown to Methodist Hospital for treatment and test results are pending.

According to Marshall Volunteer Fire Chief Chad Hayes, at 4:09 p.m. emergency crews were called to the business at 4635 Peerless Road after a report of an employee falling and unresponsive.

Hayes says Beckner was unconscious when they received the all, but her regained consciousness before firefighters arrived, but was disoriented.
Paramedic from Indiana University Hospital decided it was best to have Beckner flown to Indianapolis for treatment. Air Evac responded to the scene and flew Beckner to Methodist Hospital for treatment.
