(BEDFORD) - Bedford Police arrested 26-year-old Jeffrey Johnson after police found him running from another male on 14th Street Saturday afternoon.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsely officers stopped both men.
Johnson was being chased by the other male after he allegedly stole money from him.
Johnson, who told police he was homeless, admitted to taking the man's money
When police were arresting Johnson and checking his pockets they found a digital scale and a syringe that tested positive for meth.
Johnson was charged with theft, possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
