(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Police are investigating several burglaries and thefts that were reported Wednesday.
The first report came in just after noon from a resident in the 1100 block of Younger Road. The homeowner reported a boat motor and other items were stolen from the property.
Then at 2:53 p.m. officers were called to a home in the 11000 block of U.S.50 West.
Then just before 4:30 p.m. Officers were called to a home in the 1400 block of Dive Road. Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig is asking that anyone with information about the burglaries or thefts to call police.
Craig asks residents to report suspicious vehicles, or suspicious activity. He says motorists and neighbors can help deter criminal activity.
