Indiana Farm Bureau State President To Address Farmers Jan. 21

(BEDFORD) - Indiana Farm Bureau Inc., State President Don Villwock will visit Lawrence County, Tuesday, Jan. 21 to talk to local farmers and government officials.

Villwock will spend the day talking to residents about local topics of interest and concerns.

Villwock will be a guest on WBIW 1340 Talk of the Town at 8:30 a.m. and will meet with commissioners at Williams Dam to discuss the hydro-power project.

At 11 a.m. Kyle Hall will give Villwock a tour of his family farm and discuss livestock operations.

Plans are to meet with U.S. Forest Service officials to go over projects and management of forestry acres.

Villowock will then meet with residents at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds Expo Hall to discuss issues concerning local farmers and concerned parties.

A question and answer session will include topics as the current farm bill status, property taxes and other topics of interest.

A soup supper will be provided at 6:30 p.m.
