(SALEM) - A fire destroyed a barn and damaged a mobile home in Salem.
Shortly after 11 a.m. Monday, Salem firefighters were called to a barn fire on Water Treatment Road.
Firefighters from Jefferson Township were also called to the scene.
When firefighters arrived the barn was engulfed in flames. The barn, owned by the Burgess Calhoun family, was destroyed and the trailer next to it was damaged.
No one was home when the fire started and no one was living in the mobile home.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Firefighters were on the scene until 1:30 p.m.
