(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Commissioners have approved a recommendation by Lawrence County Treasurer Paula Stewart to conduct a special Commissioners Sale of 68 properties on Wednesday, April 9, in the courthouse lobby.
Stewart says the properties represent $114,000 in unpaid taxes.
The properties need to be sold and put back on the tax roll.
Stewart has contacted adjacent landowners and is waiting to see if any are interested in purchasing a lien.
SRI has been contacted to assist in the sale.
