(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police arrested 60-year-old Jeffery Mills of Bloomington on several charges Sunday morning after they were called to the scene of a domestic incident involving scissors and a handgun.
According to Bloomington Police Sgt. Lucas Tate, officers went to the home in the 4000 block of West Grand Avenue after a 60-year-old woman called for help at 12:27 a.m.
When police arrived they found Mills inside the home and he invited them in. According to the woman during an argument Mills threatened the woman with a pair of scissors and a handgun and refused to allow her to call for help.
Mills was arrested on charges of domestic battery, confinement, intimidation and interfering with reporting a crime.
