Bedford Police Officer Crashes Vehicle Following Malfunction

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford Police Officer was not injured after he lost control of the police car he was driving Sunday morning.

48-year-old Brian Sorrells, was traveling north on White Lane in a 2009 Ford Crown Victoria when something broke in the front end of the car and he lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle went off the left side of the road, hit a tree, utility pole and mailbox. The vehicle then went back to the east side of the roadway and stopped in a yard.
