(WORTHINGTON) - A Worthington man already facing felony charges was arrested again last week.
24-year-old Graham N. Tackett is now accused of writing three personal checks to businesses in Worthington on a closed account.
One check was written on Oct. 3 for $12.89, another for $4 on Oct. 19, and one for $60 on Oct. 28. All were written on Tackett's personal account, but when police obtained banking records, a bank representative told police Tackett's checking account was closed on June 7.
The bank representative also provided copies of three letters that had been sent to Tackett notifying him that the account had been closed due to an "outstanding overdraft" in the amount of $447.54.
The arrest warrant was served on Tackett, who was already in jail, when he appeared in court for an initial hearing this week where he was charged with three counts of theft, all class D felonies.
A standard bond was set for Tackett in the latest case, but he is being held in a previous case on a bond of $30,000 surety with ten percent, or $3,000 cash, allowed and remains in jail.
In the previous case, Tackett was arrested on Nov. 6 when police found Tackett had broke into an apartment after kicking in the door.
During the arrest, officers found Tackett was in possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription.
Tackett at that time he was charged with residential entry and possession of a controlled substance.
Before that arrest, he and two other individuals were arrested in April in connection with the alleged theft of a 47-inch TV from Walmart.
And before that, there was a case filed in May of 2012 for possession of a controlled substance.
Those cases Tackett's probation and bonds were revoked and the cases are pending.
