(BEDFORD) - A Williams man is in jail today on charges of domestic battery, strangulation and intimidation after he injured a woman during an altercation in November.

33-year-old Bryan Crane, was arrested on a warrant Tuesday.

According to Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig the woman came to the police station on November 26 to report that Crane had injured her on two separate incidents on November 23.

Craig says during the first incident happened in a parking lot on State Road 158 and State Road 450 and the second incident happened in a home on Fayetteville-Williams Road.

"The victim had bruising to her neck, and it appeared she had a black eye," Craig says. "She also had other bruises on her face. The woman says Mr. Crane punched her in the face, pulled her hair and had choked her."

Police officers could not locate Crane when the crime was reported, so police requested a warrant for his arrest.

Crane was still in jail this morning and is being held on $755 cash bond.
