Attorney General Investigators And ISP Detectives Raid Safe At Home Healthcare LLC

Last updated on Friday, December 20, 2013

(BEDFORD) - Attorney General Investigators and Indiana State Police detectives were at Safe At Home Healthcare LLC at 1017 14th Street Thursday morning.

Several people witnessed them taking out computers and other files and load them into the back of a semi tractor-trailer and other vehicles.

Officials are not confirming what they are investigating or if any arrest were made.

Calls to business President and Administrator Jerry Ford were not returned Thursday.

However Ford did call the station this morning.

"This story is wrong, no computers were taken out of the building at anytime," Ford says. "This is common practice when someone makes a complaint...They have to investigate. All of our paper records are owned by the state. This is complete lies."

According to the Bedford Police Department log, officers were informed at 8:25 a.m. by Attorney General Special Agent Shelia Green that officers were on the scene at Safe at Home. Then at 8:33 a.m. Bedford officers were called to Powersource Computers to assist in executing a search warrant.

According to ISP Sgt. Curt Durnil, troopers were on the scene most of the day in support of the Attorney General's Office.

Policy and Litigation Public Information Officer with the Attorney General's Office Bryan Corbin could not confirm or deny the investigation at Safe At Home.
