Two Injured In Accidents On U.S. 50 Bypass In Washington

(WASHINGTON) - Two separate accidents on the US 50 bypass near Washington Wednesday slightly injured two people.

WAMW reports the first wreck occurred at 6:36 am.

43-year-old Scott Marvel, of West Terre Haute, fell asleep at the wheel of his 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche and collided with a 2002 Freightliner Tri-Axle owned by MaCallister Machinery and driven by 54-year-old Mark McCracken, of Washington.

Marvel complained of body pain and was taken to Daviess Community Hospital.

McCracken was not injured.

Then at 9:51 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of US 50 and Highway 57, 60-year-old Tim Gregory, of Washington suffered minor injuries when his 2001 Dodge Dakota collided with a 1999 Mercury Sable driven by 46-year-old Sharon Keneipp, of Vincennes.
