(FREDERICKSBURG) - A Salem had to be freed from wreckage after the car she was driving ran off the road and flipped into a cornfield last week.
The crash happened on Ind. 150 near Fredericksburg around noon on Wednesday.
35-year-old Tammy Gehl, of Salem, was traveling east on Highway 150 near when, according to Sheriff Department Deputy Jim Strange, she took a curve too fast, drove off the road, over-corrected, and launched her 2005 Chevrolet pick-up truck into a cornfield, where it landed upside down with her inside.
Posey Township and Palmyra firefighters and Washington County Sheriff's deputies were on hand to free Gehl and she was airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital for treatment.
