Paoli Man Arrested For Battery

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after he got into fight with a family member over a family burial plot.

According to Indiana State Trooper Shea Teague, he was called to Cresthaven Memory Gardens on Dixie Highway just before 1 p.m. Thursday.

When Teague arrived, the victim told him he was expressing his concerns about family burial plots when one of the employees struck him in the face multiple times.

The victim was bleeding from facial. The man was taken by an IU Health Hospital ambulance to the hospital for treatment.

In the mean time Lawrence County Police Detective Tyler Phillips was talking to 54-year-old Richard Radcliff, of Paoli. Radcliff told police, the victim had called him a derogatory name, so he punched him in the face approximately four times.

Radcliff was arrested and charged with battery.
