(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was arrested after he got into a domestic fight with a woman and injured her in front of children.
According to Mitchell Police, officers were called to a home at Second and Vine Street at 0:38 p.m. Saturday after a neighbor reported hearing children screaming.
When police arrived they arrested 21-year-old Gregory Pannell on charges of domestic battery and strangulation.
Police say Gregory and a woman were fighting and he allegedly placed his hands around the woman's neck cutting off her airway.
Children Services were also contacted and are also investigating the incident.
