(MITCHELL) - Nominations for the Greater Mitchell Chamber of Commerce’s annual lighting contest must be received before 4 p.m. Dec. 18.
Anyone living in the Mitchell school district is eligible.
Nominations should include the name of the homeowner, the address of the decorated home, driving directions to the home (especially for those nominated from Mitchell's rural outposts) and a short description of the display.
Drop off nominations at the chamber office, 1494 W. Main St., or call the chamber office at 849-4441. Nominations can be left on the answering machine. Or, nominations can be emailed to mitchellchamber@frontier.com.
Judging will take place Dec. 19. During judging, nominees should keep their lights on until at least 9 p.m.
