Mitchell City Council Seeking Senior Applicants For Housing Rehabilitation

(MITCHELL) - The city of Mitchell is seeking senior applicants for its housing rehabilitation grant program.

Nine homes have been rehabilitated and two more are pending, but there will still be enough grant money left to do a few more homes before the program is complete.

To qualify, applicants must live in the home they own, be older than 55 and meet income guidelines.Work on the homes, completed free of charge to the homeowners, may include heating, cooling, windows, home modifications, roofs or rest room upgrades.

To fill out an application or information stop by Mitchell City Hall.
